20 ways to help flat hair look more voluminous (part 2)

Please see part 1 HERE

11. Blow-dry and style hair

There's a reason your hair looks so glamorous when you leave the salon: the bounce after a cut (or dye). Although you can go to a hair salon to get your beauty done, you can also do it at home using a hair dryer.

12. Blow-dry your hair upside down

You don't have to blow-dry your hair to style it for fuller curls at home - simply blow-drying your hair upside down can help add volume to your roots. Just remember to use a heat protectant to help protect your hair from unnecessary damage.

13. High bun

If you're someone who likes to multitask, you'll be happy to know that there are simple ways to add volume to your hair while also reducing styling time. One of them is a high bun. Start by making a high, loose bun on top of your head and secure with a silk hair tie so there are no waves. Spray water gently on hair, then let dry. When it's time to style your strands, you can remove the bun and immediately reveal your puffed roots.

14. Use wig clips

To instantly create the illusion of fuller hair, consider looking for a wig clip. There are many types of wig clips on the market that are specifically designed to create the illusion of size.

15. Try hair extensions

If you're willing to spend a little more time and money in search of fuller-looking hair, permanent hair extensions may be for you. You'll need to see an experienced stylist (and be willing to spend a few hours in the chair) for this, but you'll get decent results in return.

16. Double ponytail

Give your drooping ponytail new life by supporting it with another ponytail placed directly underneath. To create this voluminous hairstyle, start by parting your hair horizontally from ear to ear, almost like you're creating a half-up hairstyle. Clip the top part out, then gather the bottom part into a ponytail at the back of your head and secure with a clear elastic band.
Next, remove the top section of hair and pull it into a second ponytail that sits just above the first section. Finish by wrapping the tie around both ponytails - you'll get a voluminous, voluminous hairstyle.

17. Try curling your hair

Rolling your hair into a roller can instantly revitalize soft hair by creating voluminous curls. Use hot rollers and let them work their magic about an hour before you're ready to go out, or use foam rollers or overnight curlers when you want to wake up with beautiful, voluminous hair. .

18. Finish with hairspray to create volume

Sometimes, the difference between flat hair and voluminous hair depends on the products you choose to style yourself. When you finish your hairstyle with hairspray, it will help fix the hairstyle and keep the volume of your hair.

19. Change where you part your hair

Something as simple as changing the parting style can help flat hair become more voluminous. When you part your hair at the same time over time, your hair may get used to the flatness. By switching the parting position, your roots will be brushed in different directions. This can help create an arched effect that can temporarily lift your hairline.

20. Add layers

For a more permanent solution to flyaways, ask your hairdresser to layer your hair. This can help add volume to your hair. This style makes your hair look fuller.
