7. Change your diet
Eating a healthy, clean diet is one of the best ways to control perspiration. By avoiding processed foods and eating plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, you'll be able to detox your body and reduce unwanted odors. Furthermore, it is important to drink enough water each day so that your body can function at its best. If sweating is a problem for you, consider using a deodorant or antiperspirant.
8. Washing and changing clothes
It is essential to take care of personal hygiene when sweating. Not only will this help you avoid body odor problems, but it's also good for your overall health. How much effort you put into washing your clothes has the potential to affect your scent, something most people don't realize. Most detergents, such as perfumes, are recognized as having a pleasant scent. Alternatively, you can add 1/2 cup (120 ml) of white vinegar to your washing machine during the rinse cycle to help eliminate odors and remove sweat.
Wear clean clothes every day. Change all your clothes, including shirts, shorts or pants, all underwear (such as underwear, bras, and socks), as well as any items that touch your skin. New clothes will keep you smelling good all day long.
9. Clean shoes regularly
Shoes are easy to smell if not cleaned regularly due to sweat and bacteria build up. When they are particularly dirty or smelly, wash them and dry them in direct sunlight. You can also line your shoes with dry paper to improve their scent. Change between several pairs of shoes as often as possible. Wear one pair today and another the next to give your other shoes time to breathe and dry.
10. Clean your hair and scalp in the shower
Washing your hair and scalp regularly is one of the best ways to keep them clean, free of sweat and body odor. For even better results, use a shampoo with antibacterial properties - this will help reduce the chance of bacteria building up on your hair.
11. Spray perfume on your comb.
Perfume is one of the most essential ingredients to help you smell good. This is especially true if you want to have luscious hair - using perfume on a comb will do the trick! For best results, apply perfume to both roots and ends before styling. Doing so will help lock in the scent and give you an overall scent.
12. Bed sheets and pillows are scented with herbal sprays.
You spend every day of your life sleeping on them and you probably sweat it too. Lightly spraying perfume on bed sheets and pillows to create a pleasant fragrance is a way to keep the body smelling fresh. Also, sleeping in them will be more comfortable that way.
13. Avoid eating spices, onions, garlic
Although these foods are good for you, the bad smell will escape through your pores and make your breath smell bad. Alcohol and red meat also change your body odor, so try to reduce your consumption of those items.
14. Put the scented sachet in the drawer.
Fragrance bags will keep your clothes and underwear smelling fresh longer. Simply place the scented sachets in the corners of a drawer or hang them in your closet. They will give your clothes a light scent and help keep them odor-free.
A simple way to have a pleasant scent all day long is to use Breeze perfumed body deodorants.
